You could also do a cmd/ctrl + R refresh on the browser or quit & restart the app. It usually helps with cache issues.

Can you please also make me understand why the number of followers keeps going down, despite me adding consistently more. Let's say I am at 3500. If I get to 5000+, then come out of Iris and get back in, I will find again c.3500 followers. This is very strage. Thanks
There's no central place to store your follower count like in IG, Twitter etc. It's counted from different relays and some of them may be offline or unavailable etc.
In addition, the followers count is always very different when looking at the Apple app and the browser. Why is that please?
