Casa was always a shitcoin company. They almost launched litecoin support early on, and literally had Ethereum in their roadmap/values statement (before they took it down).

Similarly, Bitcoin Magazine was always a shitcoin magazine. It has only been a short period of time where they were larping as maximalists interested in harm reduction by not covering shitcoin games -- and then ordinals game around and they figured they had enough cover to go straight back to their degen ways.
