i was trying to do development on a macbook once, it was terrible
MacBook is dope, xcode is lame though imo.
What about Mac was not great that was better elsewhere?

I feel like I own my device when I'm on Linux, on Mac it feels like I have to beg the apple lords to let me run the application I downloaded
Coming from Linux that makes sense. Linux seems the purest path, I've only experience with Mac though. Simple easy and let's me do what I want. What steps do you recommend to learn Linux? Hardware? Software?
Just flash Linux on a pen drive and dual bloot it, best way to learn is to use it
