There are subtle things that I started noticing about how NPCs are programmed. When I was a kid I liked watching tv shows that had laugh sounds added. You know that same laughing track they play in all the sitcoms. It’s weird to think about but they’re trying to simulate an actual theater. By using group psychology, they condition you to laugh even if it’s not a great joke. Pavlov? And it seems like this concept is being pushed by content creators on social media. Some of my family members send me these videos that play the sound of a man laughing so hard that he can barely breathe. The sound makes it less funny to me but they’re clearly popular because I keep coming across them. The NPC programming is so deep.

War for your mind
I hear that same laugh track all the time at work. So irritating
Some sitcoms are genuinely funny though, older ones, not newer 👀
For sure but I just don’t like being conditioned to laugh from that sound lol if it’s funny I’ll laugh on my own
"great joke"? Mate, it doesn't even have to be a joke. 🤷♂️
Yeah sometimes it’s not
Have you ever attempted to explain to someone how they are an NPC?
No I have not. Have you?
On many occasions. I would suppose that... 4/5 times I was laughed at for my explanation. No one truly understood how currency valuation works.
Yeah it’s probably a waste of time to try and teach those kinds of people
It's bloody difficult, but I would never say that it's a waste of time attempting to illustrate such a thing to SOME people. Many of the folk that I'm referring to are people who I care about, after all. I believe it's vital to do everything I can to rid them of their NPC mentality, and explaining certain important aspects of economics and wealth management can be surprisingly effective in achieving this... sometimes 🤷♂️.
No … I focused on changing the world IRL via my actions outside online.
Saying again: theoretical gameplay means nothing to boots on ground experience
I’ll die (again) saying this 🤣🙏🌹
A touch random, but is this you?
Indeed …
Many names I’ve had …
OSTARIA is one of my favorites 💜🫡🙏🌹😇💫👑✨⭐️🌟💫☄️🌠🌌
"Indeed ..."

Sure about what?
Random again, but who is below 👇
Lol. And I meant are you sure nostr:nprofile1qqsperznhtknzshh50lzm6fzclhpzrdt0evpj2ykqzp6fgtw3vzxwlspzdmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ue0g8kjrl is you? 🤔
It has to be funny for me to laugh. I remember as a kid a lot of those shows. Some jokes were funny but the canned laughs, to me, were just part of the genre. Only show with canned laughs I still enjoy sometimes is Seinfeld. But I prefer Curb (no canned laughs and just better)
Yeah they conditioned us to associate those canned laughs with comedy shows which creates the expectation that it is funny when it may not be
