At least for now...when on chain fees get crazy again, it'll be pretty difficult/expensive to maintain self-custodial Lightning channels and I'm guessing most will once again opt for cheaper custodial wallets.
Wait until folks realize we've been in THE WALLET RACE for like 1.5yrs now. Like, we know nostr will catch on over the next 15yrs, but normies still won't understand self custody lightning and that's why we've seen so many new custodial wallets come along from the beginning; WoS, Alby, speed wallet, minibits, cashu/nuts, coinos, and many more to come I'm sure....
