Lol. He is kinda narrow minded on the topic. The protocol is just notes and other stuff transmitted by relays. Imho all social networks will plug in eventually. "Minds" social network already did and they run a relay.

Rn I agree it is heavy Bitcoin talk but i think it might just be that way bc we are early adopters of nascent technology.
