Strike wants a lot of KYC. If we are to be private and self sovereign- strike is not the answer.

I agree, but if you wanna be private and self sovereign then WoS isn’t the answer either. just because they didn’t follow the rules doesn’t mean it’s a solution (i love them btw, Lightning legends)
i’d recommend Breez, Muun, Mutiny, or Phoenix for privacy and self sovereignty

of course. we follow the rules because I don’t want Coinbase being the ones representing on-ramps and regulated services globally. we need Bitcoiners in the ring and we want to be here forever
but the rules themselves? we’re likely better off without them
None of them give you a proper lighting address tho like wos does.

hmm, not sure. it’s much more difficult to do Lightning Addresses non-custodial. ZBD and Fountain are custodial, so same as Steike
Zeus might work if they offer Lightning Address?
