Haven't seen any spam on nos.lol

Don’t blame you. I was busy most of the weekend so I didn’t really see how bad the spam was until today 🤢
Sometimes it even seems like the spammer responds at the right time, like he’s messing with us. Now I don’t see it. I’ll come back to Damus.io and nos.lol when it’s solved
Removing primal and damus relays were all I really needed to do. The weird thing is that the primal client doesn't have any spam regardless of which relays I connect to. Idk why but maybe this is because of their caching relay? So I guess the caching relay does have a benefit.

It's nice they block it in client, but keep it on the relay and serve it to others.

its not quite how it works. their client only connects to their caching relay, it doesn’t connect to any other relay. so they have complete control over everything you see and can censor anyone they want, and you have no control over that.
Yeah, that's why I avoid primal.
I'm just saying, they have a way to detect it obviously, but still serve it up to other clients from the primal relay. It couldn't be that hard to remove the posts they have already classified as spam from their relay.
If you filter out the gay spam from the damus relay, wouldn’t that be censorship? Maybe it’s okay to have some censorship
Primal doesn’t filter it from their relay though. Only from their caching service. Those who connect to the primal relay (and don’t use primal) see the 🌈 spam

I haven’t tried any other client all weekend. It’s good that multiple solutions are available
