I'd be more than happy to pay $7/mo(in sats) split between all the devs for what nostr provides and will provide in the future....

Because it's already free for me.. and I need all the sats I can get..
Optional donation zap button for every nostr client.
Once per month all the donated sats get split evenly between devs and people of importance on nostr
Use something like #[6] to add folks to the pool to receive part of the split.

You are not poor. You are struggling.
If you where poor, you wouldn't have a way to be on nostr everyday.
Do what you can for someone else. You might be surprised how much you get in return.
I give everyday on here. I am just not gonna pay for service that is already fplease. Sorry not sorry I don't care. I am never gonna pay for this application and if they make it that I have to pay I will not use it. Simple I am not gonna pay no monthly fee to use these free serviyes the developers pay for it that's their problem not mine.
What services/features would you expect to get for $7/mo?

Just had the thought that an OPTIONAL monthly nostr fee could provide devs and other people of importance incentive to keep building #nostr and reduce the reliance on just zaps and zapathons to compensate for their time and effort for building this beautiful community we all enjoy and love.
Imagine.
Once a month all of the sats from the optional monthly fee, split between the devs and people of importance for doing what they do for nostr...
Then,
Something like #[4] could make a great verification tool to be included in receiving part of the cut.
