-THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-

Lying desolate in the arid plains of southern Iran, the Zohreh River Bridge in Hormozgan Province is a crumbling relic from the Sassanid era, dating back to the 3rd to 7th centuries CE. Built from limestone and rubble masonry, the bridge once spanned a thriving waterway, its thirty arches now sunken into cracked earth and shifting sands.

The dry, parched land beneath bears witness to the relentless march of time and climate. What was once a vibrant connection of trade and travel now resembles a ghostly ribcage of history—silent, fractured, and powerfully poetic in its abandonment.
