When the hotel room thermostat doesn’t want to go below 68°F , Houston we have a problem. Not one of us Swiss mountain goats can sleep well in such scorching room temp.

Maybe you should convert Fahrenheit to Celsius as i did 😃. 20° Celsius seems fine to me but... not if there is much humidity. I suspect that humidity is your problem...
