when I want to send bitcoin to a friend without asking for an invoice, I can just send it directly. With LN you need an invoice or an address (unless the recipient is saved as a BOLT12 contact). better ux for normies.

You can do that just as easily using lightning addresses. There’s plenty of people here that don’t know

My personal phone number or email, but know my lightning address.

That’s cool! Sounds like you’re pretty comfortable with your LN setup and a bit more on the advance side!

The Macadamia extension probably isn’t useful for you. Some things aren’t for everyone.
