Muy poco

I wonder how many zaps are completed in a day. Lightning plus NOSTR is changing the game.

I can still remember when blocks were always empty…

old timer right here.

Yup 😮‍💨

SoV maxis rn must feel so orgasmic

A couple fast blocks and the mempool clears.

I saw 1800 over the weekend one morning...

That's all I can manage alright

Hodling and Coinbase just doing its own ledger moving fir etf.

What does that mean

Think of the Bitcoin mempool as a collection of transactions waiting to be processed. For the past couple of years there have been a lot of transactions in wait. 100,000-300,000 at the busiest times Right now, the wait is minimal with not a lot of backlog.

A lot of Bitcoin usage now takes place with Lightning, a layer built upon Bitcoin. Like Zaps. This frees up the main layer.

What does it mean? Eh. Not much. It's just not too busy right now. People are using Lightning and not transacting on the main layer.

I think i get it. It just means its getting more efficient and mainstream?

Lightning is at least, in my opinion. Lightning is instant and cheap compared to using an on-chain or main layer transaction.

Lightning is kind of like MasterCard or Visa and on-chain or the main layer is like a bank transfer. Those are slow and cost more money.

Lightning is a way to make Bitcoin scale to the masses.

That's why we use it for Zaps!

Zaps and Lightning are real bitcoin, just used in another way.

great explanation! <3

I wonder why..
