Maybe the Magic Wormhole "transit relay" specs (https://github.com/magic-wormhole/magic-wormhole-transit-relay) can be updated to take advantage of Nostr relays.
This would also add decentralization to the service.

I don't know why this stuff is not installed by default in all PCs and phones.
