Thanks. This is creative. It raises many questions though:
- why RAK instead of another brand? Do others not fit?
- why those antennas instead of something else?
- how long will the battery last if we get a string of very cloudy days?
The RAK devices have much lower power consumption relative to similarly effective devices based of ESP32.
How do the Raspberry Pi Pico nodes compare? I heard the guy from one of the videos say they were close to the RAK, but he didn't know if they were higher or lower, just that they were better than the ESP32 based devices.
The PI Pico is going to be comparable to the Heltec v3 but less efficient than the RAK.
