I will only ever use btc on-chain and to transfer faster I will be using the lightning network. As right now and maybe years years to come I won't need anything else.. until some unborn child discovers something worth while on btc. 🤷‍♀️ #bitcoin #nostr #plebchain #plebs

If you have lightning channels which never get closed, you’ve basically already built a payments solution which can last until you die.
The “scaling problem” is that 8B people cannot quickly all open lightning channels in a self custodial manner. But this is a small pain point compared to the friction and structural problems of our current monetary + payments systems.
