Due to the carrot fly, I have stopped growing carrots and instead tested out parsnips. It seems to have worked out well, and I'm going to grow a lot more parsnips next year. #gardening #permaculture π

Parsnips are underrated! We've had some success against carrot flies in our garden by planting onions and garlic next to carrots. Apparently the flies really don't like the aroma

Do you get a photosensitivity reaction after working with them and being in sunlight? Iβve been afraid to try growing them because Iβve heard this can happen. But I love them so muchβ¦
