it’s pretty much all he’s talked about for the past six months. He’s already dreaming of putting a trolling motor on the back & slaying fish

Fishing is awesome from this small profile platform. I don't have a canoe instead a sit on top kayak. Has foot pedals for propulsion

Absolutely! Work it out so he earns it and can appreciate the effort. Like provide fish for dinner once a week for the family for x weeks.

If he wants to travel from lake to lake it will be challenging with no vehicle. Thats the only downside to bigger flat back canoe’s
Though if e parks it on a big lake with endless adventures, Definitely go for it.
