I’m confused as to why zaps are different from a wallet? Or banking app?
Zaps aren’t an in-app purchase. What if Damus was also a non-custodial wallet? Is the problem that Damus receives a cut from zaps?
Everyone is very much on new ground with zaps.
the problem is the link between a payment (even if it is a donation) and the consumption of _digital_ content

No bitcoin they want you to use their proprietary system (IAP) and pay 30%
