Bitcoin keep losing every day against Monero as payment

I've only been doing transactions in real-world with monero. Wouldn't use bitcoin due to lack of privacy, but also because transfer fees are expensive.
LN is nevertheless fun for zapping around here.
But why a person would waste btc/sats on trivial stuff? Hard money is to be away from regular things. I, for my own sanity, don't waste my sats on bullshit.
