i totally forgot I wrote this thing for controlling my android phone from my desktop (send/recv clipboard, get battery level).

it worked over a private xmpp server + gtalksms. nostr would make this way easier.

Heh, another thing KDE has is KDE Connect, which is similar to this plus a few other features.

couldn't get it to work. its way too confusing

I installed it on desktop (Plasma) and Android, then I linked them. I don't remember it having any complications.

they couldn't find each other for me, even when I opened ports. i dunno

I have a 3 channel Bluetooth keyboard I use. It doesn't work both simultaneously though you have to select 1, 2, or 3in the top corner. Its an icleaver from amazon, almost full size, not quite.
