I'm in the median between get more sats and how can you still get coin with dollars phase

As long as you plan to never convert a sat to a dollar, you can claim to be in phase 3 πͺ
When a quarter of my stack buys a house outright, without capital gains, I'll buy a home. Until thenπ€·π₯
Sounds like a good plan, as long as you think of the house as a consumer good and not an investment!
I know dozens of homeowners who have bitched for years and years. The returns are good with inflation, but in the environment we're moving into, the Bitcoin standard, it'll almost be better just to rent. Sure appreciation covers the expense, but not your time. In the short term, I'll resign my lease and chill π
You get it π€ I think for a long time it'll be more logical to rent, but eventually houses will fall towards the price of production. Eventually it'll cost something like 1-2 years salary to secure a large family home, at which point people will buy them all consumer goods to live in because they need them, like how people treat cars now. There'll be no fatcats pumping up the price because there'll be no inflation to run from!
I'm going to be honest with you like I would a friend. That feels naive to me. There will always be opportunists. As a matter of fact, we all are. I wouldn't be in the corn if I didn't recognize the opportunity. There will always be narcissists ready to skin any and every fool who will sign the dotted line. And from my perspective, seems like there's more fools than people like you and I who put forth effort to better our situation. I wish you were right. Hands down that's a better world. But I mean this from a genuine place of care, watch your back. I respect opptimism but the sharks will never leave the water until there are no more fish to eat. And in large part, humans are goldfish who can do math.
I appreciate the honesty, it's no good us just agreeing on everything in a circle jerk after all π I think there will always be sharks in the water, sure, but I don't think the economic reality of the situation can be deterred, just like no one alive can state that gravity will no longer work tomorrow, and then it actually doesn't. Don't get me wrong, this could be a process that takes place over 500 years, not the 5 years that many hyperbullish bitcoiners tend to hope for, but I personally believe the wheels are in motion - like Jeff Booth says - as long as bitcoin remains decentralised and secure
