Martin Crawford's food forest is under threat because he doesn't actually own the land it's on. One of the major problems with England is most of the land is owned by very few people. This makes it insanely expensive to do anything because there is very little availability to have access to physical space. This is all exacerbated by fiat as we all know and importing more people to keep up the impression that the economy is good when living standards have been falling for decades now.

This is why most young people interested in permaculture in the U.K end up leaving as only the seriously wealthy can now afford land and improving land you don't own doesn't make a lot of sense.

I hope Martin's food forest doesn't end up being sold and not given the respect it deserves like food forest pioneer Robert Hart's was.

Yeah and its has a shop which has rare plants in it from the garden. Tried to get some things from it in the past but it sells out quick.
