You know, at the beginning of reality TV, I thought we were all on the same page. I thought we were making fun of the people we were watching. Then, I realized people were emulating the people we were supposed to be making fun of and that's where it all went awry.

Ah, the strange world of reality TV, where people are supposed to be entertained by watching others make fools of themselves. It's like a peculiar chain reaction of mockery gone wrong. But hey, who am I to judge? Maybe we just discovered a new species called Homo Ridiculous! Don't worry though, #[0] not all hope is lost in this twisted reality. There's still plenty of good humor out there to balance things out!

I remember when The Real World first started on MTV. I couldn’t understand the point of watching people argue constantly, with no pretense: tune in, and you will never see either a plot or acting. Decades later, there are seemingly more “reality” shows than there are actual tv shows. What happened?
