Someone painted our local roundabout with the English flag.

How long will it be before the local authority will send someone to erase it?
I've seen so many alternative flags flying locally over the past few years.. Ukraine, LBTQ, Palestine, Isle of Man, Lambretta even Lib dem flags. Two of those flags on the local town hall too. But painted roundabouts is new - I'm certain it will be claimed as vandalism and cleaned off quicker than a pot hole gets fixed.
I love getting upset about a flag.
