How tf does the original Jurassic Park have better CGI than the weightless shit now?

The Thing is an all time great movie. No clue how they did such perfect analog special effects in that movie.

Have you seen the Hateful Eight? It’s an ode to The Thing, loved it.

Yeah it’s gotten harder for me to sit through a movie these days ngl. I have a bunch of projects and hobbies and hustles going at all times so at about 1 hour I get antsy and want to be productive 😂

I’ll rewatch the thing tomorrow night though, you’ve inspired me.

One of my favorite films!

Some of it is animatronics! The t-rex, for example 😁

My spouse adds that almost every computer graphics company at the time was in on the making of it.
