I officially believe that the united states is the filthiest, grossest, place in the world. Coincidental that for 6 months I did not once ill once (the whole summer in Costa rica). I come back here to Maryland and within the first 2 weeks i have gotten colds twice. I just feel like all the people around me are always sick or getting over being sick. Its almost like the body acclimates to the climate its in.
Maryland isn't the whole of the US either bud. Same thing would have happened if you went somewhere else in the US and then came back to maryland in the spring.
