It’s pretty concerning that’s the state of android phones. Apple can certainly be a lot of hype, and they ecosystem more tightly controlled… but poor performance/security due to having an app installed isn’t one of them.

but ironically, its iOS that you need to worry about zero day exploits on, not android. would not have predicted that 5 years ago. makes me think iOS exploits were no accident/bug.
