I was thinking.. to buy a horse from Germany for a Russian client with money transfer is not easy now. That’s why the idea was to use Bitcoin
If you need immediate turnaround on the funds then you'll likely lose too much in the Bitcoin/fiat exchange spread.
Although it might still be a better solution for cross border settlement. Just look at the 3-5% loss from exchange spread and/or fees as the fee for doing a cross border settlement.

Of course if bitcoin is the best/only method, then I would toss out my preference mentioned earlier and use bitcoin with no regrets!
