Good thing rich people don't have fiat, or rely on demand for it to wield any control through the use of the money printer.
Not even political, I know tech savvy people who you'd think would know say: oh isn't that the scammy pyramid scheme for money laundering thing?
I have noticed that especially people that are politically “left” find it hard to grasp bitcoin.
I see it as one of the most bottom up, empowering, resistance type of technology ever invented that should tick all the “left” boxes.
For some reason it doesnt.
They often don’t see users or use-cases that connect with them from their bubble
True, word of mouth is important. I also have the feeling that the left was typically anti government or at least sceptical of it and this has shifted to trusting that govs have good intentions and intervention is the way to go (just ball park guess development in the last 20y or so).
From my perspective, as a rather lefty, anybody with power should be viewed with scepticism and doesnt matter if its left or right.
