Yep, the EigenLayer has been launched and it allows to restake the ETH, bringing up also some concerns on decentralization.

general rule of thumb ... is as follows: dual-use of validator staked ETH, while it has some risks, is fundamentally fine, but attempting to "recruit" Ethereum social consensus for your application's own purposes is not.

Its might be risky for the application, not for ethereum it self.
