I remember this debate during the ordinals and runes launch. Ethereum stuff on bitcoin. I’m all for people exploring their nerdy ideas in cyberspace, However I do want to be aware when they are also exploring their sexual fantasies as I might be exposing my non existent children to predators thinking I am giving them an early education about decentralized finance not knowing that they are preying on my kids. It makes sense, Pedos are usually not rich or famous or socialites. They are usually the opposite. What a better place to find prey than a meetup where people who feel excluded from central bank lending and who are purposely obscure and hiding in the internet. Not being rich enough for kids doesn’t change because you find out bitcoin exists. There is no way to accumulate bitcoin if you have children and expenses to cover. This could also be “the establishment” starting the bear market. Nothing like child porn to ruin market sentiment. And Trump being exposed right after his kid starts a mine. Seems like a convergence of many different market forces. Remember: bitcoin is a decentralized algorithm. It’s not Santa, It’s not your friend. It is just an algorithm securing assets on chain.
