If a project is simply using BTC/LN as a payment mechanism, it is not decentralized.

The entirety of the project must be decentralized, even down to who deploys its code.

Using centralized infra like AWS, is a weak link. Using a singular domain name is a weak link. The list goes on.

Most of what we have today is still faux decentralization.
