One reason they don't want you to use cash, Bitcoin, silver, or gold is because then they don't get to control it, the banks or the government.

Even just having cash on hand makes you safer in the event a bank shutdown, hack or anything happened, because to take it they have to physically take it.

If there is a shutdown, hack or anything else, I wonder if cash will even have an utility and whether it's straight barter at that point lol

I'm not sure, I suppose it varies on the significance and circumstances, which is why having Bitcoin or precious metals would be a better bet for sure.

If others don't have I wonder if they'll even use it or if it's just straight anarchy and looting. Who knows. I bet many countries and ancient civilizations had these same issues.

True, at that point it's probably just every man for himself and people would fight.

No power means no grid … no bitcoin. Hence why it’s important

I think so, people have rioted for far less.

Already have designed clothing for when we destroy fiat in the USA … might just make one for the Funzies out of dollar bills 💵 😂😂😂

They don’t need to physically take your cash, they just inflate it away, or create a new legal tender to reset.

True

This is why I don't agree with the total abandonment of cash. Yes, it's technically worthless but it's still a heck of a lot more practical than Bitcoin. It's also inherently more private and you don't have to KYC to obtain it.
