So, is anyone working on a #marketplace features for nostr?

What features would be useful?

What principles should it use?

A marketplace note should probably have a tag like #marketplace or #auction or #nostrbay or ...

A tag for #buy #sell #trade

Then we need tags for values. Like #price:[number][sats] or for some time maybe even [usd] [eur]. Other similar tags would be #pieces:[number] or #weight:[number]

Active tags for bids in auctions. Should bids come with zap collateral being sent to the auction so that there is some weight to bids?

With this in place and corresponding search/filter tools in the nostr clients this would be a great decentralized place to trade anything.

Of course the tags would be displayed as icons or small widgets.

Ok, LNbits is going in the right direction. It's a specialized nostr client that's basically a shop/marketplace. A lot of the functionality seems to be running in DMs. Nice.

What I had in mind was something that would just extend the twitter-like clients to be able to search for notes that contain "a marketplace" content. While the buying/selling would look like two people discussing the details in DMs. Somewhat everything-app like and simple.
