American discourse has fallen to a simple if/then of:
if red/blue
then good/bad

'fallen' is bit of a stretch. it's always been this way
True, the spin cycle knob is getting turned further than most political-pblebs can take though. While sad that - in a presidential election year - there isn’t the same scheduled discourse events at this point… at least they are getting chances to breathe and heal before it ramps up later this year.
It does feel that many have gotten off their high horses and realize they need to reason just a wee bit more.
