I use them both too. Iris do not support zaps counter. Amethyst have hard-coded 1k Sats under tip button.

Zapped you! Do I need a zap compatible wallet? I keep hearing Strike, but doesn't it convert incoming sats to fiat?

Yes, you need wallet with NIP-57 compatibility. I've had it setup via Wallet of Satoshi but it is globally broken currently. I've set myself LightningTipBot and I do not see zaps now. Maybe I am not the perfect source of information. 🫠

I'm not in a rush. I figure at the pace things are developing in Nostr, within a month zaps will be a no brainer 🧠

Wallet of Satoshi seems to be back and working. I'm switching back to it since it's so handy to use.
