Make me a one person team agile tool and I'll use it. I suck at breaking down tasks.
Is that a thing we can do? Can I agree with the general premise, admit that I am terrible at it, and refuse to stop coding anyway?

Everyone breaks down tasks, in their head.
This is about
* writing them down,
* completing the tasks calmly, one by one,
* adjusting the list, as you go along,
* and delivering working increments, regularly.
Mostly, it's the admission that (human and monetary) resources and time are valuable and limited, so feature sets should be shaped to accommodate them, rather than the other way around.
