as i got towards the end of the PoC i figured out that the static nature of libp2p networks was a big problem

not even just the consensus that IPFS uses, but the libp2p library underpinning the entire thing - it can't cope with nodes not having a full picture of the network, which is a huge scaling obstacle

some day in the near future i hope to be able to dedicate the time to figuring out how to do what libp2p does without any directories or central consensus or shitty DHT but for right now, this is an unsolved problem, and at the root of why blossom has a better chance of being the basis of an actually working solution
