Two new Bitcoiners joined us yesterday. In the evening we talked with the child's about what money is and even though we went through it very quickly and simplified, both understood what the problem is if I can print money out of nothing and buy all the goodies from the table 😄

I also quickly explained what shitcoins are, and although at first both were "Omg so lovely dog, I want that", they both realized the absurdity when I reminded them that the money is completely digital and there is no coin with the picture of the dog, and we remembered what features the medium of exchange needed to work properly.

Of course, we also talked about how money itself is not something to be pursued, but the good that you can create for yourself and others, and how money can act as a tool to achieve it.
