How difficult is it to set up and run your own Nostr Relay?

Privately? 3-4
Publicly? 5-6
Is there a good resource you recommend to read up on it? I was going to follow some YT tutorials to see if I can figure it out.
Are you wanting to set one up publicly or privately?
My intent was to contribute to the pool of relays people could jump on to use for the more social apps, so a Public one.
Though to be honest, I'm not sure what the advantages or disadvantages of each would be.
