I'm in the UK 🇬🇧 i buy mine direct from the farmer through thier shop/vending hub.

Maybe its worth getting a few freinds together, and sign a letter of intent to buy and crowd fund some of the cost of putting in a chill cabinet in return for a discount for 12 months ?

That way the producer has proof of market and mitigates some of the start up costs and risk...

yeah, i'm in portugal, the nearest beef production on any significant scale is in the Azores and on the mainland. best i've found was my local store had some argentine grain fed beef in about 2kg lots wrapped in plastic in the freezer, and it was great while it lasted... helped my cat too, reduced the inflammation he was having from his ear infection and gingevitis - but i've needed to get him to a vet and next week he's getting surgery on his mouth to finish that... the medicines have done the trick and he's so much happier, now regularly tearing up the place and fighting with the rugs.

ah yeah as for me, lol... i've got kidney and liver problems from too much alcohol and caffeine... the beef really makes me feel a lot better, though it irks me smelling the corn taint on the meat, but seriously

veal is not the same, i can get all the veal i could want, but it's horrible, dark, smelly, stringy, low fat shit that doesn't have any of the good stuff in it, even my cat can tell the difference, he was hoeing into the beef but the veal he's like "meh"
