Podcasting 2.0: stupid, useful, revolutionary?

I went back to Spotify from Fountain because I can't stand Fountain's buggy interface. Sorry 😭
What's buggy about it? I've been using it for a while now and haven't had any issues. I'm on android. My only issue is connecting a privates (paid) rss, which it won't do. I have some on fountain and some on Google.
It keeps playing when I get GPS directions rather than pausing like Spotify does, there's no way to display podcasts I've partially listened to like Spotify can do (rather, everything is simply chronologically listed), there were times I couldn't get it to play at all and had to go into my system settings to do a "force close," it somehow still plays even after exiting the app, it doesn't delete from storage podcasts you've already listened to, and it seems to use an inordinate amount of battery. I'd rather just donate to content creators and listen on Spotify since Spotify has a smoother interface and better performance, and I'm already paying for it anyway.
Could just be my phone. I really didn't want to be a bitch and complain yet here I am 🙈

Fountain 0.9 (September)
- we’re integrating nostr fully so that your boosts / comments will be distributed as nostr notes and other nostr users will be able to reply - if you send a boost or leave a comment on Fountain

Fountain 1.0 (October)
- complete resdesign + ux overhaul
- we’re redesigning the app from scratch based on all the feedback we’ve have this past year. The new design will be MUCH smoother and easier to use.

Overcast is still the best app from a listeners pov
Potentially useful but entirely captured. there's currently no way to use it in a sovereign way from your own node. Only with a custodial wallet from a podcast app.
Might as well find the postcaster's donation page and use that directly. Also, boostagrams are the only thing that make sense. Sat streaming is inneficient and just wastes fees.
