I still need something suitable for my smartphone. I don't want to sit at my notebook for every trade. Is there anything useful from Bisq now? (It has to run under GrapheneOS)

Robosats should do it even on degoogled smartphones like yours since it doesn't rely on any google services. just open the Tor browser and give it a go :>

Sometimes I use Robosats but when someone says platform XY is KYC, I think first and foremost of the official process. Passport, photo, annual income statement, address, sometimes videocall etc.

I will give Bisq an new chance. I will install it again later on my Linux.

I definitely agree with you on that one! as a matter of fact this has annoyed me by far the most when i was arguing with people about kyc / nokyc in the past. kyc is a legally defined term. it is not an ambiguous term, yet people use the term arbitrarily to justify their bitcoin purchases on exchanges/brokers and quack something they picked up from their favorite influencer (>bro buying on Bisq or even with cash is kyc because they see your face and even if you cover your face they can track your cars license plate and follow you home blablabla!<) nothing more annoying than that. anyway, happy no-kyc-stacking :)

Is there no escrow or something similar on Bisq2? Müßig 🤔

i never used Bisq2, only Bisq, sorry

Trade is done. It was easy.

Bisq 2 is a work in progress launched last year.

They plan to have many different trading protocols. For now Bisq 2 only has Bisq Easy protocol which is escrow less chat based protocol to buy from high reputation sellers.
