'Student Driver' placarded vehicles should be doubly-fined for traffic infractions, as well as immediate suspension if&when they slow up traffic to a severe degree.

It's either that or these people need to be blasting cars around these schools and local tracks because it doesn't seem they have a remote sense of what their car is actually doing on the road. I'm all for being safe, but you also need to know how to get out of your own goddamn way in certain situations.

SCCA Solo Autocross taught me more about how to drive properly, with the car in mind, than any drawl and drooling idiot in the passenger seat reminding me to keep my fucking hands at 10&2 and use the blinker (200 feet!).

There needs to be a series of DRIVING tests for you to prove you can handle yourself. The metal box won't save you from being a total idiot.
