I think their onboarding experience is better than nostr’s, they have good follow up emails, good recommendations of content and people to follow. And in particular their way of encouraging groups is what we’ll need to do if we want nostr groups to take off.

The experience of needing to set up a forever-name during onboarding is awful. Their “frames” thing is super spammy. I don’t know anybody that used communities on Twitter, so there’s no indication that their channels feature will be appealing either. The network is also flooded with jargon that is incomprehensible to a newbie (warps, DCs, replicators, etc). Much to learn in comparison though, yes. I want to pay $5 to use nostr
