To me it's even deeper than that. Nation states and corporations form the deep state and they are all ramifications to the ones on top of everybody else...
This is why bitcoin is so important because we need to stop being controlled by their rules with their money.
Big companies are an extension of the administrative state. The seat of corruption is always under the executive branch, not necessarily the elected officials themselves. Power and influence is a two way street. Pure fascism is an official unity between government and business. In early 20th century Germany, the imbalance was on the dictator's side. In the US it has always been on the side of the oligarchy.
