"Exchanges delisting it" as a selling point made me chuckle. Much adoption, much wow.

Monero is too obvious for the state. It's getting banned and criminalized everywhere, and no one wants to hold it for long. Bitcoin is the ultimate savings tech that many adopt, and a trojan horse towards the state.

Centralised exchanges delisting #monero is a plus point for the ecosystem. Why are they delisting it? When you truthfully answer that question yourself you'll see why.

No one is banning bitcoin precisely because it poses zero threat to the ruling class.

Another question. If Bitcoin is fungible, why are miners starting to implement OFAC? Also how is chain surveillance possible?

I'm not doubting bitcoin as a savings technology. My bets have been in place for a long time in that regard. My point is if you really want to ensure financial privacy then using bitcoin would be an idiots move. Without privacy there is no freedom so as long as you're happy with full financial transapency (in our lifetime at least) then go ahead and bend the knee and kiss the ring, spend your sats, pay your taxes and fund forever wars.

If bitcoin is your trojan horse, it'll be generations before that ever happens.

Good luck.

If you don't want or expect bigger adoption of xmr, then this fine. Then it's only for the happy few that can get access to it (privilege). Bitcoin is for everyone. I hate cexs as much as the next guy, but getting some (btc) instead of none (xmr) is better for adoption. No adoption means failure to replace fiat.

Banning bitcoin has become difficult as it has too much adoption, thanks to cexs. Banning xmr is easier and will further hurt adoption. No adoption means no value, means less adoption. Btw bitcoin is banned in some countries.

Bitcoin has financial privacy. You can buy and spend privately as it has more adoption and liquidity.

Monero has even less chances of achieving what you say. Bitcoin will indeed be a movement of decades, be humble and patient...

Liquidity and adoption has nothing to do with privacy. Bitcoin is a transparent ledger for good reason. Monero has a private ledger for good reason.

I'd like to think we can agree that monero and bitcoin and like a shark and a lion. Different beasts and impossible to pit against each other. I see them as having two very distinct qualities. Monero is great for private spending, not so clever for long term saving. Bitcoin is great for transparent saving, not so clever at spending.

For the record, I have held equal units of both for many years and it's served me well in both regards.

Wouldn’t a #crypto that is used as a medium of exchange and has hard money property automatically becomes a store of value over time?

I’m not necessarily implying that #Monero will become a better store of value than #Bitcoin in the future (although I wouldn’t exclude it either) but my point is that I think Monero will become at minimum a decent store of value if its usage keeps increasing.

You seem to believe the same as your #XMR / #BTC holding is 50/50. Or if you don’t, why do you hold equal share in both?

If I use this shitcoin, who exactly accepts it? Because where I am, I have NEVER Seen it being accepted anywhere. In addition, nobody has ever heard about it where I am.

Who am I going to send it to? And if someone sends it to me, I will have to exchange it for bitcoin ASAP because it keeps losing value against bitcoin (I also will have to pay exchange fees)

As for your analogy, I don't agree with it at all. Bitcoin is the only apex predator out there.

I've been dealing with you shitcoiners for almost 10 years now. Not once did anything you say come true, not once.

Everything you shitcoiners say is bullshit and it's getting tiring.

Bullshit followed by bullshit followed by a little more bullshit just in case.

"Strong opinions, loosely held"

If you can't hack your position being challenged then you are not fit for purpose.

Also, don't give me that 10yr shit, you hail from the class of 21 zealots. They are the most dogmatic.

If you came out the pleb factory, alarm bells would sound and a big mechanic arm would pick you out the assembly line and throw you in the furnace.

Weak.

I can prove my first purchase, can you filthy shitcoiner?

You're a scammer, you live on the misfortune of the people you scam. You're a low-life, a parasite.

You're a benefit to yourself only. You're a waste. Go away.

Again, this what I just don't understand with bitcoin zealots...

Fawning for the states approval for your crypto to succeed. Sounds very permissionless and unstoppable. Lmao

Literally nowhere did I say that. Celebrating no adoption on the other hand...

"Monero is getting delisted, banned, and criminalized everywhere bro. Just make sure your crypto is legal and follows all regulations bro 😢" -You

😂

Using quotes on smth I did not say. Ok then...

Two can play at that game. Bitcoin is banned in several countries. Your argument is void :-)
