It happens, friends and paintball family move on, some pass away. I’ve been playing since 1997, I’ve played on so many teams I sometimes can’t remember them all. I have been to funerals of 3 teammates. I’ve played many levels of the game, spent more time on fields then I did at home some years, worked 3 jobs to support my habit, and traveled the country to bleed, sweat, cry, and celebrate. An article in Paintball Games International magazine I read 20 some years back compared our sport in many ways as being in a band, some were rock stars, but most aspired and sacrificed to try to obtain what few could in the pros. After it’s all said and done, I would never trade it or the bonds I had for anything. #paintball #lifestyle
