If you're banned or blocked or otherwise can't use a platform where you want to reply to someone, I suggest this:

We can reply to screenshots on nostr with the hashtag #replyaway and mention the username, and then anyone can find their away-replies on nostr by searching their username with the hashtag.

Can also link to a specified post, so later we can have bots that notify people on other platforms if their posts are linked with the hashtag on nostr. If those platforms ban those bots, they'll be laying out a clear division between echo chambers and nostr where you're actually allowed to know about everyone else's opinions if you want (because nostr will never ban bots from telling you if your posts are linked elsewhere, you'd be the one choosing whether to mute those bots)

I feel like the person who started the block in the first place would just block everyone who shares the screenshots.

1. The point would still be made: you can't stop people from replying, all you can do is bury your head in the sand, even if you're posting on some platform that makes people go to another platform in order to reply. It makes "blocking" on all public social media effectively the same as "muting."

2. When Digit had me blocked, this would have been effective enough for reaching her, I bet. That would have really helped everything.

3. It's even more effective against bans than blocks, since an authority acting on behalf of users to stop them from knowing about other people's opinions is pretty easy to instinctively see the issue with.
